In this work, the effects of remelting and annealing treatment on the wear resistance of AlCoCrFeNiTi0.5 high-entropy alloys (HEAs) are investigated. It is found that the remelted and annealed HEAs exhibit better wear resistance than the as-cast HEAs. Moreover, the wear resistance of the high-entropy alloy after annealing treatment is better than that of the alloy after remelting. X-ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Vickers hardness are conducted to identify the crystal structure of the alloys after the remelting and annealing. Compared with the as-cast alloy, the intensity of diffraction peak of BCC (A2) phase increases after remelting and annealing, the microstructure distribution is uniform and dendrite gap decreases. Additionally, the remelted and annealed AlCoCrFeNiTi0.5 HEA5 exhibit lower coefficients of friction, higher hardness value and lower amount of wear than the as-cast HEAs.
