The electrostatic cyclone of this study is an enhanced small cyclone with a high voltage electric field. The concentration and collection efficiency of fly ash is monitored and calculated by Electrical Low-Pressure Impactor (ELPI) device under various flow rates and voltages. Based on Barth analytical model, in the absence of electric voltage, the total efficiency and cut-size at 60 (L/min) were obtained 88.3% and 1.98 (gm) respectively. Employing electrical voltage of -16 kV enhanced the efficiency to 96.2%. Moreover, the obtained results showed that at lower inlet velocity, the efficiency can be improved by increasing the static voltage.
