Zinc-methylimidazolate framework-8 (ZIF-8) was synthesized and used to construct a simple fluorescence sensor to assay ochratoxin A (OTA) in this investigation. In addition, the purposed sensor was challenged by testing coffee and red wine samples that contained buffer solution spiked with different concentrations of OTA. The results of this study indicated that the detecting platform exhibited excellent sensibility and selectivity for OTA against other fungi toxins. The ZIF-8 aptamer sensor demonstrates many advantages, such as a linear range from 100 nM to 350 nM (R-2 =0.98), a low detection limit of 27.3 nM, S/N=3, and remarkable convenience, which provides a general platform for OTA detection in complicated food sample analyses.
