This paper investigates the fixed-time consensus control problem of multi-agent systems (MASs) with input delay and uncertain disturbances. The fixed-time consensus is obtained via an event-triggered control, and it can be reached within a settling time for any initial state. Continuous communication can be avoided both in the update of the controller and triggering condition monitoring. Consequently, the energy consumption can be significantly reduced. It is proven that no Zeno behavior occurs under the proposed event-triggered consensus control strategies. Finally, some numerical simulations are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed controllers. (C) 2018 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
