Stress corrosion cracking (SCC) behaviors of 30Cr2Ni4MoV welded joint in simulated environment of low pressure nuclear steam turbine were addressed with different fracture positions in the welded joint by constant loading test (CLT) and slow strain rate test (SSRT). The fracture of the welded joint happened near the fusion line which was ascribed to the interaction between stress and galvanic effect for CLT, while in welded metal with the weakest strength for SSRT. The mismatch between galvanic corrosion and strength of welded joint determined the fracture location and SCC sensitivity of the welded joint when the two different loading modes were applied.
