A new hexa(4-tert-butylphenoxy) substitutedtrithiadodecaaza[30]hexaphyrin was obtained by reaction of 4,5-bis(4-tert-butylphenoxy)phthalonitrile and 2,5-diamino-1,3,4-thiadiazole in ethylene glycol, as well as its Ni-II, Cu-II, Co-II, Zn-II 3: 1 metallocomplexes were synthesized. All the compounds were characterized by UV-Vis, IR, H-1 NMR and C-13 NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry and elemental analysis.
