We report the non-covalent functionalization of multiwalled carbon nanotubes with pyrene monomers bearing a boronic acid function. These functionalized electrodes were used to wire horseradish peroxidase via formation of a covalent boronic ester bond under mild conditions with the glycosylated enzyme.
