Continuous flow synthesis of beta-amino acids from alpha-amino acids via Arndt-Eistert homologation

A fully continuous four step process for the preparation of beta-amino acids from their corresponding alpha-amino acids utilizing the Arndt-Eistert homologation approach is described.
