Three-component one-pot reactions of 1,10-phenanthroline hydrate with dialkyl acetylenedicarboxylates in the presence of pyridine carboxaldehydes

The reaction between 1,10-phenanthroline hydrate with dialkyl acetylenedicarboxylates have been trapped by pyridine carboxaldehydes to produce highly functionalised oxazines in good yield.
