A new guaiane sesquiterpene from Paraixeris pinnatipartita

A new guaiane sesquiterpene, 3 alpha,9 alpha-dihydroxy-11 beta H-guai-4(15), 10(1)-dien-12,6 beta-lactone, along with five known compounds were isolated from the whole plants of Paraixeris pinnatipartita. Their structures were identified on the basis of spectroscopic methods, including IR, EI-MS, HR-ESI-MS, 1D NMR and 2D NMR.
