(S)-Pyrrolidine sulfonamide catalyzed asymmetric direct aldol reactions of aryl methyl ketones with aryl aldehydes

A (S)-pyrrolidine sulfonamide catalyzed asymmetric direct aldol reaction of aryl methyl ketones with aromatic aldehydes has been developed with moderate to good enantioselectivities.
