New experimental data on the time dependence of an increase in the number of correlated spins under the conditions of the observation of the multiquantum NMR spectrum of a solid are processed on the basis of a microscopic theory for describing the growth of the second moment of multiquantum NMR developed by us earlier. As follows from the theory, the growth is an exponential function of time for crystals with quite diverse structures. The results are discussed on the basis of semiphenomenological models.
