Description of Trappea darkeri (Trappeaceae: Hysterangiales) from Mexico

Trappea darkeri is described from Mexico, it has been reported in the northern hemisphere at high altitudes; the specimens were collected from the states of Coahuila, Tlaxcala and Michoacan, so this record becomes the southernmost distribution known for the species.
