A new Na3PSe4 compound is synthesized and exhibits a large cell parameter of 7.3094 angstrom, thereby providing 3D channels that are optimal for Na ion diffusion. Na3PSe4 has the highest ionic conductivity reported for chalcogenides so far, with a value of over 1 mS cm(-1) at room temperature and a low activation energy of 0.21 eV. [GRAPHICS]
