Methods are suggested and compositions are selected to endow the surfaces of textile goods made of cotton fabrics with waterproof properties. The wetting angles are measured that water drops form with the coatings, made of fluorosilanes of different structures, on the surfaces of cover glasses and fabric. It is shown that, if the aggregation of fluorosilane molecules takes place in the treated solution, then it is possible to achieve the superhydrophobicity of the cotton surface.
