This Letter obtains the 1-soliton solution of K(m,n) equation with the generalized evolution term in it. The solitary wave ansatz is used to obtain the exact solution. A conserved quantity is also calculated for this equation using the 1-soliton solution obtained. (C) 2008 Published by Elsevier B.V.
