1-soliton solution of (1+2)-dimensional nonlinear Schrodinger's equation in dual-power law media

This Letter solves the nonlinear Schrodinger's equation in 1 + 2 dimensions with dual-power law nonlinearity and obtains the 1-soliton solution. The solitary wave ansatze is used to obtain the solution. A few conserved quantities are calculated using the soliton solution. (C) 2008 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
