Bronchopulmonary dysplasia: Pathophysiology and potential anti-inflammatory therapies

Inflammation of the preterm lungs is key to the pathogenesis of bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD), whether it arises as a consequence of intrauterine inflammation or postnatal respiratory management.
