Synthesis of beta-Hydroxyphosphonate and 1,2-Dihydroxy Acyclic Nucleoside Analogs via 1,3-Dipolar Cycloaddition Strategy

A convenient synthetic approach toward nucleoside analogs where -hydroxyphosphonate- or 1,2-dihydroxy units are connected to the nucleic acid base through a triazole spacer is discussed.
