Positive solutions of the p(x)-Laplace equation with singular nonlinearity

In this paper, using sub-supersolution method, we study the positive solution of the p(x)-Laplacian equations -Delta(p(x))u = f(x, u) with Dirichlet boundary condition on a bounded domain Omega in R(n) with C(1,(omega) over bar) boundary for some 0 < <(omega)over bar> < 1 for a possibly singular nonlinearity f on Omega x (0, infinity).
