Structural and Pharmacological Effects of Ring-Closing Metathesis in Peptides

Applications of ring-closing alkene metathesis (RCM) in acyclic alpha- and beta-peptides and closely related systems are reviewed, with a special emphasis on the structural and pharmacological effects of cyclization by RCM.
