The bacterial reaction center couples light-induced electron transfer via a tightly bound ubiquinone (Q(A)) to a mobile ubiquinone (Q(B)). Based on the electron transfer theory by Marcus, we have investigated the rate of charge recombination reactions from Rhodopseudomonas viridis and Rhodobactersphaeroides, by mean of finding an approximation formula. The results obtained are verified for not only at high and low temperature as the previous works but also at the medium temperature range.
