Note: A cryogenic, ultra-high-vacuum, microwave filter which passes a narrow beam

We report on a device which filters microwave radiation prone to heating cryogenic experiments while at the same time allowing large apertures which will not disturb a propagating beam. A method for evaporating thin films onto the inner face of a narrow tube is also described. (C) 2015 AIP Publishing LLC.
