Degradation rates of a copolymeric PLGA can be controlled by varying the constituent amount in the copolymer. In the present study we have made an attempt to utilize microwave irradiation to blend PLLA and PGA in different concentrations. FTIR, NMR and DSC measurements clearly show the blending and cross-linking between the constituents. (C) 2007 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
