Metal-Free Aromatic Hydrogenation: Aniline to Cyclohexyl-amine Derivatives

Hydrogenation of the N-bound phenyl rings of amines, imines, and aziridine is achieved in the presence of H-2 and B(C6F5)(3), affording the corresponding N-cyclohexylammonium hydridoborate salts.
