Sunscreens: An overview and update

Sunscreens are an important aspect of photoprotection. Their efficacy in reducing photocarcinogenesis and photoaging is widely documented. Although there are concerns regarding long-term sunscreen safety, the advantages of sunscreen use are far more compelling.
