A new diterpene from the fungal mycelia of Hericium erinaceus

One new diterpene (1) and new compound (2), along with four known compounds (3-6) were isolated from the fungal mycelia of Hericium erinaceus by the tracking method of antibacterial activity. The structures of compounds (1-6) were elucidated on the basis of spectral data. Compound (3) showed strong antibacterial activity against Helicobacter pylori (ATCC43504) and compounds (1), (2) and (4) showed moderate antibacterial activity.
