We report here on basic aspects that have to be addressed in TAT systems and describe our experiments with prospective carriers of Ra-223 intended for bone therapy based on hydroxyapatite nanoparticles. Preparation, in vitro stability tests are described. Labelling yields were ranging between 60-99 % depending on the reaction conditions. Preliminary static stability tests of successfully Ra-223-labelled hydroxyapatite nanoparticles were performed in a physiological saline and showed relatively low activity washout within 24 h (<5 % of total sample activity).
