In this study, auxiliary electrodes (A-E) were designed to regulate the deposition of wavy fibers in nearfield electrospinning. An alternating current supplied to A-E controlled the fibrous amplitude and generated frequency of the fibers. Several factors that influenced the deposition of wavy fibers were varied during the experiment; these include the distance between the nozzle and collector, the solution concentration, the distance between the nozzle and A-E, and the charged jet morphology when dropping from nozzle to collector. An electric field simulation experiment was also performed in this work. It was discovered that a continuous wavy fiber deposits on the collector when the distance between nozzle and collector is increased to 4 mm, and the best solution concentration is over 5 wt%; besides, the charged jet dropping from nozzle to collector is a straight line in this paper.
