Calculations are reported for low energy, proton capture by N-14 with the recoil corrected continuum shell model. An interaction from a fit to Cohen and Kurath ( 6 - 16) p- shell matrix elements and Reid soft- core g- matrix elements is employed. The prediction for N-14(p,gamma)O-15, based on this model and available data, is that S( 0) equals 1.676 and S( 30) is 1.666 keV b. Good agreement with available cross section data support this result. No evidence is found for significant contributions from the subthreshold resonance.
