Breast cancer diagnostics by Raman spectroscopy

This paper presents new results for the normal, malignant and benign tissues by Raman spectroscopy. To the best of our knowledge, this is one of the most statistically reliable research (321 spectra from 44 patients) on Raman spectroscopy-based diagnosis of breast cancers among the world's women population. The paper demonstrates that Raman spectroscopy is a powerful medical diagnostic tool with the key advantage in breast cancer research. (c) 2008 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
