A wet-chemistry-based synthetic method has been devised for the preparation of core-shell particles with tunable magnetic properties. Tailoring was achieved through variations in the amount of magnetic material deposited. The fabrication of these superparamagnetic particles (with T(B) below or above room temperature), consequently permits us to envisage different applications, overcoming well-known drawbacks such as the superparamagnetic limit at room temperature.
