We report here on the physical properties of single crystal, Ce2RhSi3. The low-temperature physical properties of Ce2RhSi3 are studied by means of magnetic susceptibility, electrical resistivity and specific heat measurements. Ce2RhSi3 shows the typical heavy-fermion antiferromagnetic behavior. The electrical resistivity rho(T) shows -lnT dependence from room temperature to 100K and 20 to 5K. The specific heat exhibits lambda-type anomaly at around T-N, while the value of magnetic entropy at T-N is reduced to 56% of Rln2. The linear coefficients of specific heat are 290 mJ/(Ce-mol K-2) below T-N. From these measurements, Ce2RhSi3 can be classified to be moderate heavy-fermion antiferromagnet. (C) 2009 Elsevier B.V.
