Essential Oil Composition of Arbutus unedo L. Leaves from Algeria

Water-distilled essential oil from leaves of Arbutus unedo L. of Algerian origin was analysed by GC-MS. Approximately 95% of the components were identified among which palmitic acid (35.2%), linoleic acid (18.8%) and p-cresol, 2,6-di-tert-butyl-(6.2%) were the major constituents.
