Scanning electron microscope and optical Contact angle measuring instruments were used to investigate the and wettability of geometric non-smooth structure Of dragonfly wing surface. Results show that the geometric non-smooth structure of dragonfly wing, surface is one part of epicuticle. some organic solvents can effectively dissolve the main ingredient of non-smooth structure. The hydrophobicity of dragonfly wing Surface is induced by the co-coupling of the non-smooth structure and the waxy layer covering.
