Draft genome sequence of Strain ATCC 17802T, the type strain of Vibrio parahaemolyticus

We report the draft genome of Vibrio parahaemolyticus ATCC 17802(T), containing 5067729 bp. The G + C content of the genome is 45.24 %. This strain possesses genes encoding a Type III secretion system 1, a Type III secretion system 2 and a Tdh related hemolysin (TRH).
