海报摘要

Large part of historical buildings is made up of masonry structures, which are often susceptible to seismic activities and have high energy consumption. An effective way to renovate these buildings involves using design strategies that enhance both structural safety and energy efficiency. This can be achieved through non-invasive techniques that improve the building envelope while maintaining the architectural style, environmental compatibility, and occupant comfort. Combining enhancements to the building envelope with non-invasive methods can preserve architectural character, sustainability, and comfort, alongside improved structural safety and energy efficiency. While there are many studies on reducing seismic vulnerability and improving thermal performance separately, it is crucial to integrate these objectives into a single intervention to ensure seismic safety and energy efficiency, while also considering environmental and economic sustainability.
