海报摘要

In Indian cities, between 0.2-0.6 kg of waste is generated per person per day, totaling 1.15 lakh MT daily and 42 million MT annually. It is estimated that 10.25 Mt of NPK will be supplied from all wastes by 2030. ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil Science has developed a new rapo-compost technology to speed up the composting process. Compost quality prepared from biodegradable waste was assessed at 0, 15, and 30 days of decomposition. The C:N ratio decreased to 14:1, water-soluble carbon decreased to 0.5%, and the CEC/TOC ratio was 4.56 at 30 days of decomposition.
