海报摘要

Hospital-acquired infections are a global problem with high morbidity and mortality worldwide. This study was aimed to determine the effectiveness of common hospital disinfectants (surgical spirit, savlon, and bleach) against nosocomial infection pathogens. Results showed different disinfectants efficacies against distinctive bacterial strains based on minimum bactericidal and minimum inhibitory concentrations. Efficient application of suitable disinfectant is an essential for infection control process taking in consideration the importance of periodic evaluation of the disinfectant efficacy applied in the hospitals.
