If the article is well-written, it can be published within less than two months from submission. It is also a first-tier journal, a very good one!

Last August, I submitted to VIRUS EVOL, but it was rejected after the first review. On October 15th, I submitted to TRANSBOUND EMERG DIS, and it went through minor revisions on December 10th. On the 19th, it was sent back for further revisions, and on the 20th, it was accepted. I feel extremely lucky!
