Do not submit if you are in a rush to graduate. It takes one to two months just for the editorial department to review. Some editors of this publication are extremely irresponsible. Even after one month of submission, it is still "with editor". Despite multiple email reminders, there is no response from the editor, only formal replies from Elsevier staff. Submitted at the beginning of the year,
One month later - under review (this speed is frustrating)
Two weeks later - received feedback for major revisions, but the comments were not too harsh (unexpectedly)
One week to complete the revisions and submit again, and the next day it went for review
After 24 days, it was directly accepted for publication

The editorial process was indeed slow, probably because of the large number of manuscripts. However, it ultimately depends on the reviewers. In this case, out of the four reviewers, two rejected the article and two accepted it. After responding to the rejection comments and refuting them, the initially rejecting reviewers agreed to accept the article. Later, a minor revision was requested due to a grammatical issue in a sentence. Therefore, when facing rejection comments, it is necessary to respond and refute them.

It is obvious that there are too many Chinese reviewers. Articles with obvious flaws and poor-quality images were unexpectedly accepted. As a reviewer, one should have some professional ethics. Even if their English is not good, they should at least ensure the quality of the images and check whether the author has published similar papers before.
