I'm so fed up! Submitted on 20201031, returned for major revisions on 20210211 after the first review. The opinions of the three reviewers were relatively fair. Sent back for revisions on 20210227, another month in between. The previous reviewers thought there were no issues and recommended publication. However, a new reviewer emerged who seemed to have read it very carefully, but in reality, their understanding and the motivation behind the article were completely inconsistent. They criticized the entire piece with extreme bias and wrote a bunch of unhelpful comments (can you imagine, 189 of them!). I have decided to withdraw the submission.
