The road ahead is as tough as iron, but now we are taking our first step again! However, we don't know when to pay the publication fee or when it will be published. I heard it may take half a year.

The review process was quite efficient, but it took a long time to address the opinions of all six reviewers. I finally finished the revisions half an hour before the deadline for resubmission. Fortunately, the outcome is good, and I am very happy. I would like to give a thumbs up to the journal.

May I ask why the manuscript has been with the editor for a month without being sent for review? Is there a high chance of rejection?

c101821 2021-11-15

Europe is 2630 euros, open source.

shzhh 2021-11-10

Do all authors need to confirm before it can be handed over to the editor?

搬砖户 2021-11-09

Excuse me, may I ask, how much is your final payment? How do you charge for it?

搬砖户 2021-11-09

How much is the final payment for the manuscript now? Can any research friends who have experienced it inform me?

c101821 2021-10-24

My feeling is that traditional metal materials related journals, including Acta, do not require exceptional performance, but the theoretical foundation and analysis of the articles should be sufficient and reasonable. Recently, I submitted an article to Acta, which is about the anisotropy of alloy tensile properties, and Acta has also sent it for review, which was within my expectations.

c101821 2021-10-24

Sweden open source, JMST needs to pay 2630 euros. Here, everything is open source, so it is unclear whether non-open source needs to be paid.

chenmeng 2021-10-19

Excuse me, do you know how much to pay?

Mr. Wu 2021-10-11

First day with editor
Second day turned into "decision in process"
It's been a week now, speechless
If it's a rejection, hurry up, I'm waiting to submit to other journals...

东南小明王 2021-10-09

First day of submission, rejected on the second day. Please like for speed.
To be objective, I don't understand how the materials can be divided into different categories. Of course, it's understandable that the Chinese Academy of Sciences wants to protect its own children. The quality of polymeric composite materials is really not high. It's obvious that they are just rehashing old things from five years ago. Even if you have made significant improvements in your own field, it's still not acceptable. Later on, after reading some communications and doing some research, I understood. It's better to give up since I'm just a grassroots person with no connections.
Anyway, I won't try to reference or submit again.

I'm sorry, it was a typo. It should be a subscription channel. This magazine seems to not have an online edition.

Lucker 2021-10-02

Excuse me, do you need to pay 3000 RMB? I didn't see it on the magazine's official website. However, the website seems to only offer subscriptions and no OA.

Lucker 2021-10-02

I saw some comments saying that even if you select a submission channel, you still need to pay. How much money do I need to pay? I couldn't find it on the official website. Thank you!

zhang JJ1 2021-09-15

I want to ask if the latest submission of the manuscript requires confirmation from all authors before it is submitted to the editorial department?

zhang JJ1 2021-09-15

I want to ask if all authors need to confirm before submitting to the editorial department?

haojinhaopiaoliang 2021-09-13

After four days of delivery with no results, on the fifth day, it was directly rejected. They mentioned that there has been a heavy backlog of submissions recently, but did not deny the innovation and advancement of the article, using official clichés.

DianHei 2021-09-09

I will no longer submit to this journal. Supporting domestic products really requires courage. The manuscript was submitted for 5 days, then with the editor for 3 days. Then it became manuscript submitted again, then with the editor again. Finally, it became manuscript submitted again and was rejected. The reason for rejection was that there was too much volume of manuscripts. It's frustrating.

一点都不carry 2021-09-05

Did you finally pay the money?

mechanicsaaa 2021-09-03

JMST was rejected for two days, and then turned to additive manufacturing (please search for "additive manufacturing" in English on Baidu). It has already been submitted for review.

Agustinwgq 2021-09-02

Posted on May 17th, reviewed on June 13th, and it is still under review now (no updates since June 13th). This time is a bit slow, it has been almost 4 months... Sigh, I hope good things come to those who wait, and there will be good news.

2021-8-1-Submission
2021-8-2-With editor
2021-8-9-Decision in process, didn't see the "under review" process in between, felt anxious, thought it would be rejected. Checked on Xiaomuchong (a website) and it said that 99% of the papers in this state get rejected, so I prepared to modify the reference format and submit to another journal.
2021-8-12-Major revisions; 21 days given
2021-8-30-Submitted
2021-8-31-Decision in process
2021-9-1-Accepted; didn't expect it to be accepted so quickly. A low-ranked C9 university, small research group, thanks to editor Chen!

Hello, "According to the editorial department, it took two days from submission to rejection, and additional materials have been manufactured and sent for review." May I ask what is the meaning of "two days from submission to rejection" and "sent for review"? Does it mean that it was under review for two days and then rejected?

随风潜入夜-2 2021-08-31

The editorial department has received it. It took two days from submission to rejection. It has been revised and resubmitted for review.

hshshd 2021-08-30

Excuse me, has your submission been reviewed? Or was it directly rejected by the editor's hand?

hshshd 2021-08-30

How long does it take from submission to the hands of the editor? How long does it take from the hands of the editor to be reviewed? How long was yours rejected?

chejunwei 2021-08-26

In addition, have you paid the money? When I submitted my contribution, I chose non-open source publishing, but I still received a notice from Shenyang Metal Institute to pay money, and I paid over 3000. It's too disgusting. In foreign countries, they don't charge for non-open source submissions, but in China, even if you choose non-open source, they still charge fees, and they call it journal construction.
