As for the status of my submitted manuscript, the teacher forwarded me the email he received for review. There is a link in the email where I can check the review status. We have the same supervisor, so when it was submitted, only he received the email.

Your submission experience also reminds me of my first SCI paper. It was also rejected multiple times. During that period, I would wake up every morning and check if my teacher had sent me any news about the article. I became numb, but after the first paper, things started to become much smoother.

We waited for two whole months at the "with editor" stage. The initial draft was submitted on August 6th, and it wasn't "with editor" until around the 20th. We kept waiting until October 16th when it finally went "under reviewer". On November 3rd, it reached the stage of "Required Reviews Completed". Now, we are anxiously waiting for the outcome, whether it will be minor revisions, major revisions, or rejection.

I remember my first article that I published after graduating with a master's degree this year. It was rejected by AM, then rejected by ACS Nano, and rejected by Nano Energy. I was rejected six times in a row. However, my advisor believed that the quality of the article was at least good enough for a journal with an impact factor of around 10. I didn't want to give up or accept my fate. Eventually, I switched to a domestically produced new journal with an impact factor of around 12. There were two minor revisions, and from submission to acceptance, it took exactly one month. During that time, I would check the submission system every day, hoping for some change but also fearing a bad outcome. Fortunately, I persevered. My first SCI article was a tough journey, and it made me feel numb from all the rejections.

On November 3rd, the status changed from "under review" to "Required Reviews Completed." I don't know if the reviewers rejected it. If it gets rejected after submission, waiting for three months would be in vain. I hope for a good outcome.
