This review was done by two people, and their comments were quite sharp. It feels different from what was discussed before, where one person was strict and the other was lenient. This time, both reviewers were strict, and it took two rounds of revisions before acceptance. Perhaps it is because the editor's presence is required in the article, which makes the editor more serious.

PS: The journal is reducing the number of published articles. From February to June this year, the number of articles published is controlled to be the same as the corresponding months in 2021 because the number of published articles is already large. In order to expand reputation and influence, the strictness of the review process needs to be strengthened, and only those who truly understand the subject should be reviewers. The impact factor is just a number; the quality of the articles is the key. It is important to make peers feel satisfied. Actually, the journal is just a medium. Submitted in mid-February of the 21st year, the research was focused on tumor metabolism. It was submitted to a category with a special issue. Within two weeks of the initial review, it was returned with requests for major revisions by three reviewers, including the addition of two experiments. Despite the overall positive comments, only 10 days were given for revisions. I worked day and night to complete the experiments and managed to submit them within the 10-day deadline. It took a little over a week for the paper to be accepted. Overall, the entire process from submission to acceptance took a little over a month.
