I submitted my paper in June last year, and it went through one major revision and one minor revision before being accepted. My paper is innovative and its performance is compared with the state-of-the-art methods in top conferences. I submitted it to this journal because I was in a hurry to graduate. As expected, it took a whole year from submission to acceptance. Fortunately, my other papers were accepted, otherwise it would have delayed my graduation. I hope other students who are trying to meet graduation requirements will be cautious when submitting. The first round of review took four to five months, and despite several reminders, it was not effective.
