Submitting an article is quite troublesome, so I suggest preparing a good cover letter.
The editing process was quite fast, but my article, which focused on disaster risk management, was rejected after 5 days with the reason being "insufficient knowledge of geomorphology".
I have a positive impression of this journal, perhaps because the editor kindly mentioned "even though the article is interesting and well written," and it didn't take up too much of my time.

The opinions provided by the editors and experts are indeed powerful and with their help, the paper was significantly improved. Although the process was challenging, I learned a lot. I am just curious as to why this journal, which clearly has the level of a top journal, is not considered a top publication.
