It is normal for the editor to take a few weeks, so there is no need to rush for submissions. As for the WOS retrieval, it usually takes some time after being online, but I don't remember the exact duration, probably around 7-10 days. The specific publication volume usually takes about five to six months.

Hello, may I ask if the publishing agreement requires the author's signature?

Alina_ZL 2022-09-02

OP, may I ask how long it will take for this journal to be indexed in Web of Science? How long after publication will it be assigned an issue and volume?

发表亿篇sci 2022-09-01

Dear experts, the journal has been with the editor for more than ten days. Should I urge them? I have never waited this long for a response from the editor before, and it is really tiring to wait.

I don't know why some statuses are reversed. Just take a look at the approximate time. Good luck to everyone!

9.1 Acceptance. This time, the minor revision was not sent for review and was approved directly.
Hello downstairs, you can try to urge the editor if it has been more than a month. Good luck.

Hello, the host. I am also in the social sciences field. It has been over a month since I submitted my major revision, and it has been in the "with editor" status. Is this situation normal? Should I consider sending a reminder? Thank you!

大熊 2022-08-31

What's the rush in ten days? It's normal for an editor to take up to a month. Urging for submissions carries risks, as you might get rejected directly if you encounter an editor with a bad temper.

大熊 2022-08-31

Replying to the message above. I'm not sure if it's the same in other fields, but in social sciences, the time given to reviewers is usually one month. As for cases where the review process takes three to five months, my friend has also encountered such situations because the reviewers were not enough and they had to continue contacting reviewers.

Still with the editor, it has been more than ten days and it's still like this. It feels so slow. How do those who enter UR in just three or four days manage to do it? Should we hurry the editor?

是April 2022-08-31

I submitted on the 8th, and it's still with the editor.

fish8888 2022-08-30

Like the original poster, I also submitted on the 10th and it is still "with editor"! Some people seem to have their papers reviewed very quickly, I wonder how the editor is reviewing them!!

Dear seniors! May I ask if there has been any progress with ESPR with editor for the past ten days? Should I remind them to submit the manuscript? It feels so slow.

chenchenwang 2022-08-30

The frustrating thing about this journal is that the speed completely depends on luck. There are no standards. Some reviewers give feedback in about a month, while others take three to five months!

Thank you to Dr. Constantini Samara Editor for handling the manuscript quickly, from submission to final acceptance took a total of 3 months. The main reason for the longer duration was the delay in my revisions. Overall, the processing speed was quite fast. Thank you to the two reviewers, who asked professional questions, and the revisions were also handled quickly.

I would like to ask the senior above, during the editor stage, did you remind the author to submit the manuscript? It feels so slow, it hasn't moved for over ten days.

发表亿篇sci 2022-08-29

It feels really slow, with the editor for more than ten days, there hasn't been any progress. I don't know how many days is appropriate to urge with the editor. It's mentally exhausting. If they reject after being with the editor, wouldn't it be a waste of other people's time?

pytorch 2022-08-29

Same direction, why is yours so fast? Can this journal recommend reviewers? Or how does it work? I submitted my first article to this journal, it's been 10 months now and I haven't received any updates since November last year... It's frustrating...

大熊 2022-08-29

Generally speaking, the speed has always been quite fast. This is the second time I submitted. The first time it took a total of three months from submission to acceptance, and after a major revision, it was accepted directly. This time it is a minor revision. I received the results of the minor revision in one month. Today is August 28th, and I have already sent it back. I look forward to an early acceptance and wish ESPR continued success!

The field I am researching is environmental economics. Welcome everyone to exchange ideas~~

The subsequent handling by editor Diane Purchase was extremely prompt. This is the fastest publication I have ever had in a scientific journal. Although there was a delay of over half a month before the review process, the review and subsequent handling were very quick. I was anxious before submitting, but the result was surprising. I am grateful.

A few days ago, I was just hired and I haven't reached the stage of choosing between subscribing or using OA (Office Automation) yet. I feel like there shouldn't be any difference.

I am also under review on August 2nd and 24th.

I waited until I wanted to cry. The graduation application for the second half of the year will start next week. I submitted it in February and waited for three months to receive the first review comments. I made nervous modifications and answered questions. I returned at the end of June, thinking that I would at least be accepted before September. Unexpectedly, there has been no news until now. Unfortunately, my mentor said that without this article, I cannot graduate, even though I have already published two articles before. I feel helpless, powerless, worried, as if I will never graduate. Now I am hoping for news on this article, even if it is rejected, so that I can quickly submit it to another journal and catch up with the next graduation application!

jackhlj 2022-08-27

The manuscript has been under review for over 7 months and has been accepted for publication. I would like to inquire whether the final publication will be through the subscription publication route or open access? Besides the charges, are there any differences in terms of publishing and retrieval speed? Thank you.

彬彬123 2022-08-26

Comrades, will the submission of this journal be rejected after the major revision?

jackhlj 2022-08-26

Congratulations! May I ask if your final publication choice is the subscription publication route or open access? Apart from the fees, are there any differences in terms of publishing and retrieval speed? Thank you.
