This journal, in my personal opinion, is a waste of the author's time. I have personally experienced such a frustrating experience. I submitted it in November last year and went through major revisions and minor revisions. After the final minor revision, they informed me in July of the following year that I needed to provide additional experimental data for it to have a certain level of innovation. What a joke!

This journal, in the first review, should have considered whether a major revision or a minor revision is needed for the innovative aspect of the problem. However, the International Ceramics directly requires a major revision, then a minor revision, and only afterwards informs you about the existence of innovative points. Then, they discuss whether your article needs to be published. Personally, I think this is a waste of the author's time. I have personally experienced this frustrating process.
