After being rejected by EG, I submitted to another journal in December 2019. I received a response in February 2020, with two reviewers providing feedback - one major revision and one minor revision. After revising the paper, I received an acceptance in April 2020, and the article was published in mid-month. This journal can be considered an introductory journal in the field of geoscience (please refrain from criticizing me, as this is how my advisor in the research group sees it). The review process was relatively fast at that time. If it is your first time submitting to SCI, you may consider this journal.
